Classification: | Phylum: Arthropoda | Class: Insecta | Order: Hemiptera | Family: Aleyrodidae | Genus: Aleurolobus |
This whitefly was observed on the leaves of Bergera koenigii (Curry Tree). Murraya koenigii, which is a synonym for Bergera koenigii, has been identified as one of the host plants for this whitefly, as detailed in a 2009 publication on whiteflies in Taiwan [1]. The distinctive pattern on its black puparium corresponds with images of the puparium found in several publications [2-4].
